To accomplish this, we require an adoption application and interview to insure our animals go to homes committed to providing a safe, loving, and permanent environment for them, as Guinea Pigs need to be provided with daily fresh water, hay, guinea pig pellets, vitamin C, and fresh fruits and vegetables.

We can provide a meet and greet with your family and any existing piggy family members.

We always have more adoptable piggies than those listed below, if you would like more information on other adoptable piggies, please send us a detailed message and we'll get back with you as soon as possible, an application will still be required.

- Hershel and Glenn -

Hershel and Glenn were rescued from a post on social media. Their rescuer soon realized the boys were fighting—likely due to nearby females—and reached out to KGPR for help. The family later adopted a bonded female pair, making room for Herschel and Glenn to join us.

These sweet boys are about 5 months old. They were first purchased for young children, but their family soon realized guinea pig care takes more than expected. Though never neglected, they needed more space and enrichment, so they joined our rescue.

Link and Gizmo were instant best friends. Gizmo was diagnosed with ovarian cyst and was quickly scheduled for and ovairectomy. Her recovery went well and she was ready to meet the pig of her dreams. Link was happy to make her acquaintance and the pair bonded quickly. Link and Gizmo are very outgoing and always interested in people and surroundings.

Meet Barnabas and Willy—solid black texel brothers with big hair and even bigger personalities! These funny, outgoing boys are super bonded and totally drama-free.

Visiting KGPR

All of our guinea pigs live with their assigned foster family so visits to KGPR must be coordinated and scheduled in advance, by appointment only.

Adoption, Surrender, and Foster applications can all be submitted electronically via this website, and are required in advance.
